3rd August 2025

On the 3rd of August 2025, Colin passed away peacefully at his home. Beloved husband of Nicola, devoted father to Seán, Cathal and James and adored son of Ann and Jack. Will be sadly missed by his heartbroken sister Kay, mother-in-law Sarah Connolly (Mamó), brothers-in-law Niall and Liam, sisters-in-law Samantha and Michelle, nieces Clíodhna and Saoirse, nephew Conor, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by his beloved uncle Peter Tonery and father-in-law John McElhinney and the deceased members of the Keaveney and Tonery families.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing in Irwin’s Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91 CK84), on Thursday the 7th of August from 5pm. Removal at 7pm to his home. Colin’s Requiem Mass will take place on Friday the 8th of August in St. Colman's Church, Corofin (H54 X768), at 11am. Funeral afterwards to The New Cemetery Bohermore.
