Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mary-Ellen Murphy. On the 22nd of November 2024, Gerry (ex Telecom Éireann) passed away unexpectedly at The Galway Clinic, with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of Maureen. Will be sadly missed by his wife, his sons Damien, Fearghal and Shane, daughter Orla, daughters-in-law Noreen and Orla, son-in-law Cormac, grandchildren Conor, Maeve, Alison and Jessica, sister Mary Claire, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing in Irwin’s Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91 CK84) on Tuesday the 26th of November from 5pm. Removal at 7pm to St Patrick's Garrison Church, Renmore. Gerry’s Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday the 27th of November at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Forthill Cemetery. .
