On the 12th of March 2025, Jimmy passed away peacefully in University Hospital Galway, with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Maureen and his son Michael. Beloved husband of Ann and father of Fiona. Will be sadly missed by his son-in-law James, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Irwin’s Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91 CK84), on Friday the 14th of March from 5pm. Removal at 6:30pm to The Abbey Church, St. Francis Street. Jimmy's Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday the 15th of March at 10:30am. Cremation service to follow, in Shannon Crematorium, County Clare.
House private please. Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Galway Hospice.
