On the 5th of November 2025, Dermot passed away in the amazing care of the staff of The Galway Hospice, with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of Helen and adored father to Enda, Paul, Dermot, Alan and Edel. Predeceased by his parents Dermot and Peggy Forde, Will be sadly missed by his wife, children, daughters-in-law Denise, Edel, Niamh and Paula, son-in-law Paul, his cherished grandchildren Ellie, Chloe, Kayleigh, Emma, Leah, Zoe and Baby Joe, brothers Noel, Gerard and his twin brother Ollie, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, his many friends, especially his great friends in Athenry Golf Club and the Brothers of Charity Clarinbridge.
May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing in The Holy Family Funeral Home Mervue (H91 FH52), on Friday the 7th of November from 5pm. Private removal at 6:30pm to his home. Dermot's Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday the 8th of November in The Church of the Holy Family Mervue, at 11am. Private cremation service to follow.
