On Wednesday 4th December 2024, Mary passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Laurence Joseph (Joe), her son Joe recently deceased, brothers Stephen, Paddy, John and Michael, sisters Margaret, Winnie and Sr. Theresa Margaret (Annie). Sadly missed by her loving daughter Geraldine, son John, daughters-in-law Eileen and Marguerite, granddaughter Cathy and her husband Paul, grandson Shane and his wife Bal, great-grandchildren Lauren and Caitlín, sister Bridget (England), sister-in-law Joan (Dublin), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May Mary’s gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at Tearmainn Mhuire (H91 XC61) within the grounds of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore Co. Galway, on Thursday the 5th of December from 4:15pm. Removal at 6:15pm to St Patrick's Church, Forster Street, Galway. Mary's Requiem Mass will take place at 11am on Friday the 6th December, followed by burial in Forthill Cemetery.
Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Galway Hospice.
