Michael, pre-deceased by his parents Frank and Nora, passed away peacefully on 19 May 2022, after a short illness, surrounded by his family, in the exceptional care of Galway University Hospital. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Nora, family Gabriel, Michael-John, Kieran, Audrey and Yvonne, daughter-in-laws Martina, Fiona and Julie, 17 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, sister Mary Doyle (Leicester, England), brother Frank (Dunmore), sisters-in-law Mary Walsh and Patricia Furey, brother-in-law Jimmy Flaherty, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing in The Holy Family Funeral Home in the grounds of Mervue Church, on Sunday the 22nd of May from 5pm until 7pm. Michael's requiem mass will take place on Monday the 23rd of May at 12 noon, in St. Columba's Church, Castlegar. Funeral afterwards to Carrowbrowne Cemetery.
