Rita passed away peacefully at University Hospital Galway, on Friday the 19th of June, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Michael. Rita will be sadly missed by her daughter Julie-Marie, sons Paraic and Colm, daughter-in-law Fiona, son-in-law Brian, her adored grandchildren Michael and Abigail, sister Mary (London), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.
May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Rita will repose at her home (H91 RR70), on Monday the 22nd of June from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral will arrive to St. Peter and Paul's Church, Coolough (H91 FF21), on Tuesday the 23rd of June for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Rita will then be laid to rest in Menlo Cemetery with her beloved husband Michael.
