Sr. Caoimhín died peacefully in her 82nd year, in the loving care of the staff of University College Hospital Galway. Predeceased by her parents Sonny and Biddy, and her sister Máire. Deeply regretted and fondly remembered by her brother Fr. Seán and sister Mairéad, the Sisters of Mercy Western Province, and extended family and friends. Sr. Caoimhín will be reposing in St. Vincent’s Convent, Newtownsmith, Galway, (H91 W6X4) from 3pm on Sunday, July 07th, with removal at 5pm to Galway Cathedral. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday the 08th of July at 12 noon followed by burial in Rahoon Cemetery, Galway.
