On Tuesday the 4th of November 2025, WIllie passed away very peacefully in University Hospital Galway. Predeceased by his parents Gerry and Annie, brothers Frank and Gerry and sister Rita. Willie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his brother Pat, sisters-in-law Bernie, Maureen and Patricia, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends - especially J.J. Walsh.

Reposing at Irwin's Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin, Galway (H91 CK84), on Thursday the 6th of November from 5:30pm. Removal at 7pm to St. Patrick's Church, Forster Street, Galway (H91 FP84). Requiem Mass for Willie will take place on Friday the 7th of November at 11am. Funeral afterwards to The New Cemetery, Bohermore.
House private by request please. Family flowers only.
